LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Martha Faile Watts, age 87, went to be with Jesus on January 15, 2022. She was born June 8, 1934, in Charlesboro, SC, a daughter of the late George Lee Faile and Wilma Newman Faile and was the wife of the late James Horace Watts, Sr.

Mrs. Watts is survived by five grandchildren, Wendy Faulkenberry (Jeff), James Roberts (Stephanie), Brandy Watts (Cory Watford), Chance Watts, all of Lancaster, and Tripp Watts (Savannah) of Rock Hill, SC; thirteen great grandchildren, Dustin Snipes (Kristen), Lauren Poston (Jimmy), CJ and Rhylee Blackmon, Eric and Chase Roberts, Bentlee and Neely Watts, Gracelynn Watford, Casey, Anna, and Jacob Snipes, and Dannon Roney; one great-great grandchild, Daxton Snipes; a brother, Wiliford Faile (Peggy); and a sister, Mary Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Watts; her parents; a daughter, Cathy Roberts; a son, James Horace Watts Jr; a granddaughter, Lori Blackmon; a grandson-in-law, Rev. Timothy Snipes; three brothers, Linward Faile, Joe Faile, and Sambo Faile; and three sisters, Billie Knight, Virginia Rollins, and Leone Steele.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Watts will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Oakhill Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Martha's home now until Wednesday.
