LANCASTER, SC :::::::::::Mrs. Martha Ann Futter Shelly, age 71, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at her home. She was born July 1, 1940 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Fredrick Futter and Florence Evangiline Burch Futter and was the wife of the late William Thomas Shelly. Mrs. Shelly was owner of Cleaning Genie and of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Shelly is survived by a son, Matthew Shelly, Sr. and his wife Robin of Lancaster, a daughter, Kelly Hammond and her husband Carlton of Oak Island, NC, 2 brothers, Charles Futter of Arizona, and Bruce Futter of Lancaster, 2 sisters, Michelle Evans of Hickory Grove, NC and Linda Fuller of Florida, sister-in-law, Connie Shelly and 3 grandchildren, Nichole Shelly, Matthew Shelly and Carlton Hammond, Jr.A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Shelly will be 2:00 pm, Monday, July 2, 2012 at The Chapel of Hartley - Burgess Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Shelly will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the funeral home and the family suggests memorials be made to Humane Society of Lancaster, PO Box 1825, Lancaster SC 29721.
