LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Martha Stacks Hinson, age 67, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Atrium Health Union. She was the daughter of the late Tony Stacks and Lillian Stacks and the wife of Steve Hinson. Mrs. Hinson had worked in textiles and later worked in Home Health.  She enjoyed camping and shopping at thrift stores.  Her biggest joy was being a mother and grandmother.  She was a member of Canaan Land Ministries.

Mrs. Hinson is survived by her husband, Steve Hinson; a son, Tommy Hopkins; four daughters, Teresa Altman (Wayne), Jennifer Belk (Brian McInnis), Allison Hinson (David Ghent) and Jill Hinson (Marquis Wright); three sisters, Betty Stacks, Barbara Rollings, and Jeanette Ballard; ten grandchildren, Justin, Dylan, Rebecca, Rhonda, Matthew, Alexis, Justice, Liam, Jayden and Timothy; and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by her parents; a great grandchild, and a sister, Linda Stevens.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Hinson will be 11:00 am Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Canaan Land Ministries by Rev. Howard Penegar.  Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
