LANCASTER, SC::::::::::: Mrs. Marianthi Chatzopoulou Langston, age 70, of 1511 Stinson Road, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at her home. She was born February 25, 1938 in Filakton, Greece, the daughter of the late Christo Chatzopoulos and Evangelia Chatzopoulou and was the wife of Jack Oldham Langston. Mrs. Langston retired from the restaurant business she co-owned with her husband and was of the Greek Orthodox faith.Mrs. Langston was survived by her husband Jack Langston of the home, 2 sons, Evan Langston and his fiance Alicia Hurst of New York and George Chatzopoulos of Greece, a daughter, Tula Chatzopoulou of Germany, a granddaughter, Nola Grace Langston, 3 brothers and 3 sisters of Greece.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Langston will be 2:00 pm Thursday afternoon, May 8, 2008 at the Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church in Florence, SC by Father Chrysospom Manuel with burial to follow in Florence County Memorial Gardens. The Family of Mrs. Langston will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday evening, May 7, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Lancaster, 902 West Meeting Street, Lancaster, SC 29720.
