LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Marguerite Blackmon Hanson, age 76, of 1774 Deaton Drive died Monday morning, December 15, 2008. She was born March 29, 1932 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Ora Smith Blackmon and Maggie Belk Blackmon and was the wife of the late Thomas J. Hanson. Mrs. Hanson retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Church Of God of Prophecy.Mrs. Hanson was survived by a son, Kenneth Hanson and his wife Betsy of Lancaster, 2 sisters, Emma Langley and Brenda Garris both of Lancaster and 3 grandchildren, Carrie Marie Hanson, Kisha Anne Wright, and John Faulkenberry.Mrs. Hanson was preceded in death by 2 sons, Thomas E. "Eddie" Hanson and Bruce Eugene Hanson and a brother Bobby Blackmon.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hanson will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Church of God of Prophecy by Rev. Brian King and Rev. Marion Wilson with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Hanson will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 314 N.
