LANCASTER, SC:::::::Mrs. Margie Juanita Rushing McManus, age 89, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at White Oak Manor. She was born November 11, 1925 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late James Lucas Rushing and Lucy Jane Williamson Rushing and was the wife of the late James Harold McManus. Mrs. McManus was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. McManus is survived by two sons, James B. McManus and his wife Barbara of Lancaster and Steve McManus and his wife Joyce of Fort Mill; two daughters, Kelsie Carter and her husband Richard of Lancaster and Judy Taylor and her husband Dick of Plant City, FL; five grandchildren, Monica Bennett and her husband Larry, Mandy Laney and her husband Zegilor, Stephanie Lindsey and her husband Chuck, Rhonda Williams and her friend Greg, and Ginger Johnson and her husband Bob and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. McManus was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest L. Rushing and a sister, Ruth Player.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. McManus will be 1:00 pm Thursday, July 30, 2015 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Jessie Adams. Burial will be private.

The Family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
