LANCASTER, SC:::: Our sweet, loving Mama, Margie Antley, 96, went to her Heavenly Home on June 8, 2016. Born August 6, 1919 in Norway, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Willis and Sallie Lee Binnicker.
Mrs. Antley retired from Springs Industries-Grace Bleachery after 30 years. She was faithful to Elgin Baptist Church of which she was a charter member.
Survivors include two daughters: Sandra A. (Johnny) Johnson of Irmo, SC; Paulette A. (Wayne) Dutton of Lancaster. Six grandchildren: Pam A. (Jerome) Sinclair, Karen A. (Joey) Springs both of Lancaster, Tim (Lisa) Antley of West Columbia, Stephen (Kim) Johnson of Columbia, Sherry J. (Justin) Bouknight of Irmo, Angela D. Rorie of Lancaster. Seventeen great-grandchildren: Benji (Dustee) Sinclair, Sam Sinclair, Matt and Ashley Springs, Austin and Taylor Antley, Nick, Alex and William Johnson, Tyler Emanuelson, Elizabeth and Tillman Bouknight, Krystal R. (Steven) Duncan, Kimberly R. (Canaan) Williams, Kayce Rorie (fianc Mike Pate), Kyle and Kayla Rorie. Seven great-great grandchildren: Hannah and Hailey Sims, Georgia Grace Springs, Gabriel, William and Wyatt Duncan, Logan Pate. Two brothers: Mabry (Dot) Binnicker of Columbia, Bill (Gwen) Binnicker of Norway. Two sisters-in-law: Carolyn Binnicker of Norway, Frances Binnicker of Orangeburg.
Mrs. Antley was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Belton Antley, son, George Cecil Antley, grandson, W. Mark Dutton, sister, Jimmie Lou Garrick and five brothers, Roy, Woodrow, Rhodum, Marvin and Faber Binnicker.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Antley will be 3:00 pm Saturday, June 11, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Don Waldrop. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 3:00pm Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the home of Wayne and Paulette Dutton. Memorials may be made to White Oak Manor, Activity Fund, 253 Craig Manor Road, Lancaster, SC 29720. The family would like to thank the staff of White Oak Manor for their love and care shown to our Mother.
