LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Margaret Lynn Knight, age 74, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born June 10, 1942 in Jefferson, a daughter of the late J W Son Lynn and the late Iva Boone Lynn and the wife of the late Coy Knight, Sr. Mrs. Knight loved her family and friends. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She loved cooking and preparing meals for her family. Mrs. Knight was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Knight is survived by a son, Ricky N. Roberts and his wife, Cathy of Blackstock; three daughters; Elaine Flynn and her husband, Phil, Sandra Baker and her husband, Cecil, and Cheryl Collins all of Lancaster; a brother, Mitchell Lynn and his wife, JoAnn of Jefferson; four sisters, Aline Eubanks, Lois Boone, Janie Snipes and Jenny Wright and her husband Carl; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Lynn and John Lynn; and a sister, Hazil Horton.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Knight will be at 11:00 am Friday, September 2, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Kenny Compton with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 11:00 am, Friday, September 2, 2016 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster and suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association of South Carolina, 44-A Markfield Dr., Charleston, SC 29407.
