Lancaster SC---- Mrs. Margaret Joyner Edwards, age 81, died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. She was born May 31, 1929 in Kershaw County the daughter of the late Leroy Joyner and Bessie Mae Self Joyner and was the wife of Robert H."Bobby" Edwards. Mrs. Edwards was co-owner of Catawba Fish Camp and a charter member of Glenwood Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert H." Bobby" Edwards of the home, a son, Dr. Malcolm Edwards and his wife Sandra Shaw Edwards of Lancaster, 2 Grandchildren Kristen Edwards White and her husband Joshua White , and Brandon Edwards both of Indian Land and 1 Great Grand-son Parker White. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Edwards will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Glenwood Heights Baptist Church by Rev. Joe Reed , Rev. Jerry Ford, and Rev. Steve Neal. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park . Mrs. Edwards was pre-ceded in death by 3 brothers Willie, Alston and Charles Joyner.The Family of Mrs. Edwards received friends from 4 :00 - 6 :-00 pm Saturday afternoon at Hartley Funeral Home and suggests memorials to Glenwood Heights Baptist Church 600 Nichols Road Lancaster, S.C. 29720.
