LANCASTER, SC::::::: Mrs. Margaret Belk Doster, age 85, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born November 3, 1929 in Charlotte, the daughter of the late James Warren Belk and Mary Annette Thompson Belk and was the wife of Max Doster. Mrs. Doster retired from Springs Industries - Grace Bleachery after 39 years of service and was a member of White Springs Baptist Church for over 60 years where she had formerly served as Church Clerk.

Mrs. Doster is survived by her husband of 68 years, Mr. Max Doster; a son, Jerry Doster and his wife Jeannie of Lexington, SC; a granddaughter, Melissa Ann Zaker and her husband Shane of Atlanta, GA; two step-grandchildren, James Tobias of Atlanta, Ga and Jennifer Tobias of Lexington, SC; and two great grandchildren, Noah and Emma Zaker.

Mrs. Doster was preceded in death by two brothers, C. W. Belk and Sammy Joe Belk.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Doster will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday,
January 7, 2015 at White Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Don Waldrop and Rev. Buford Hayes. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family of Mrs. Doster will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Family Life Center and suggest memorial contributions be made to White Springs Baptist Church, 1249 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720.
