Obituary

SMYRNA, SC ~ Mrs. Margaret Randall Crenshaw, age 94, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 at her home. She was born on November 18, 1930, a daughter of the late Mary Frone Lee Randall and the late Moody Wall Randall. Margaret was known for her delicious pound cakes and cake decorating skills. She was also a very talented seamstress and a devout Christian woman. During her later years, she spent her leisure time reading Amish novels.

Mrs. Crenshaw is survived by her sister, Hilda Jarman of Wadesboro; her four children, Diane Nivens (Mike), Joyce Crimminger (Rick), Lynn Carnes (Scottie), and Mike Crenshaw (Kim); ten grandchildren, Heath Nivens (Kristen), Katie Nivens, Chris Crimminger (Chanda), Brittany Price (Kyle), Rev. Patrick Blackmon (Brittany), Heather Gray (Joshua), Brandy Eastup (Corey), Amanda Goodwin (Justin), Jake Crenshaw, and Adrianna Crenshaw; ten great-grandchildren, Cullen, Caleb, Cody, Keegan, Kohen, Maddox, Zoey, Reid, Finn, and Huck; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Denise.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Laney Crenshaw.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. Crenshaw will be 10:00 am Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, NC officiated by her grandson, Rev. Patrick Blackmon. The family will receive friends following the service.
