LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Mae Bell Sistare Wright, age 93, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. Mrs. Wright was born December 31, 1918 in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Pressley R. Sistare and Lizzie Snipes Sistare. She was first married to the late Thomas R. Wright and secondly to the late Wesley J. Wright, Jr. Mrs. Wright retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Springdell Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright is survived by a daughter, Ivalee W. Vaughn and her husband Jessie of Lancaster, 2 grandsons; David Vaughn and his wife Beth and Donald Vaughn and his wife Patti, 5 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by a daughter; Barbara A. Hayes, a grandson, Mark Hayes, 2 brothers; Van Sistare and Boyce Sistare, 3 sisters; Mary Bowers, Ivy Threatt, and Thelma Sistare. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Wright will be 2:00 pm Thursday, August 25, 2011 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Donald Tillman. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
