CAMDEN, SC::::::::::: Mrs. Madeline Boone Neal, age 76, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Kershaw Health Hospital. She was born August 21, 1940 in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Roscoe Boone and Ruth Melton Boone and was the wife the late Bobby Arnold Neal. Mrs. Neal retired from Lancaster County School District where she worked at South Junior High School as the cafeteria manager for 28 years. She also worked in her husbands business, Neals Corner Mart for 22 years before finally retiring in 2007. As a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church she loved her church family and friends, and especially her fur baby Maggie. She also enjoyed going to the beach and working with all types of flowers.

Mrs. Neal is survived by a son, David Brent Neal and his wife, Leigh Anne of Kershaw, two daughters, Pamela Kim Neal of Camden, SC and Susan Neal Jordan and her husband Dale of Lancaster, a granddaughter, Courtney Neal; and a sister Judy Boone Hilliard.

Mrs. Neal is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby Neal and a set of twins, Myron Paul and Deborah Annette Neal.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Neal will be 2:00 pm, Monday, April 3, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Anderson. Burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm Sunday evening, April 2, 2017 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1152 Great Falls Road, Lancaster, SC 29720 and to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place CT., Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
