LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Madeline Usher Adams, age 74 of 403 Rocky River Rd. died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born April 7, 1936 in Lancaster County, SC a daughter of the late Hazel Sterling Usher and the late Ruth Bundy Usher and wife of Ralph B. Adams. Mrs. Adams was retired from Springs Industries Grace Bleachery as an invoicer for 38 years and also worked as secretary with her husband Ralph in the family business of AAA appliance. She was a member of New Life Christian Assembly Church. Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ralph B. Adams of the home, a brother Kenneth Usher and wife Betty of Columbia, 3 sisters; Frances Fletcher, Annie Lee Atchinson and Betty Ghent and husband Charles Ghent all of Lancaster, several nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law Jerry and his wife Jean McCoy of Monroe, NC and 2 sister-in-laws, Doris Napper of Lancaster, and Brenda Gill of Monroe, NC Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by a brother James Russell Usher. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Adams will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at New Life Christian Assembly Church by Rev. Eric Graffam, Rev. Curtis Bundy and Rev.
