LANCASTER, SC: Mrs. Mabelene "Mable" Catoe Jenkins, age 76 , died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center. She was born October 23, 1937 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Julius C. Catoe and Ethel Vincent Catoe and was the wife of Billy Ray Jenkins. Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker and a member of Fork Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her husband Billy Ray Jenkins, 4 sons, Charles Jenkins and his wife Wanda, Clay Jenkins and his wife Beth, Marty Jenkins and his wife Cindy all of Heath Springs, and Tracy Jenkins of Florence, a daughter, Sharon Snipes and her husband Keith of Lancaster, 2 brothers, William Catoe of Rock Hill and Sam Catoe of Jefferson, a sister, Fannie Mahaffey of Kershaw, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by a brother Wylie Catoe and 2 sisters, Betty C. Hancock and Helen Catoe.

The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Jenkins will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 21, 2014 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Kenny Pittman and Rev. Todd Montgomery.

The Family of Mrs. Jenkins will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the funeral home and in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
