CHARLOTTE, NC ::::: Mrs. Lynda Jaeger Sommers, age 67, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at her home. She was born February 22, 1947 in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of the late Edmund Jaeger and Mary Kay Street Jaeger and was the wife of Peter Sommers. Mrs. Sommers retired as an EEG Technician from Saint Catherine's Hospital in East Chicago. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and enjoyed her church ministries, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Sommers is survived by her husband, Peter Sommers; a daughter, Kristen Ohaver and her husband Kevin of Charlotte, and two grandchildren, Liam and Garrett Ohaver.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Jaeger.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Sommers will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church by Father John Guiliani. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 7031 Waxhaw Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
