LANCASTER, SC –  It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, wife and grandmother, Lynda Arant Culp Lingle on September 19th, 2024. Lynda and her twin brother, Lynn, were born on January 7th, 1944 to Melvin Ray and LouEtta "Etsy" Culp in Lancaster, SC.

Lynda is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ned Arthur Lingle, and two children, Donna Lynne Lingle of Lancaster, SC and Jeffrey Brian Lingle of Redondo Beach, CA.
She was a friend to all whose lives she touched, but, first and foremost, she was a dedicated Nana to her three grandchildren, Alaina, Will, and Logan. She taught all three how to swim and never missed an event.

Lynda was the smartest and most well-read in our family, as well as an audiobook aficionado, consistently going through about four books a week. She was an intent listener and advisor, always providing clarity during hard times. She was a loyal friend, often the first to visit someone in pain or need. Lynda loved thrift shopping, Las Vegas, Christmas in New York City, and spending time with her family by the pool. Her favorite place was the "Et-Sea", their North Myrtle Beach home named for her late mother. Lynda was the best of us.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
