INDIAN LAND, SC ~ Mrs. Lynda Sue Hill, age 79, passed away on October 26, 2025. Born November 13, 1945, a daughter of the late Victor Morovic and the late Mattie Friend Morovic and was the wife of James Hill. Lynda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness touched everyone around her. She found joy in making cards and crafting, and she shared her gift for cooking with family and friends. Her compassion extended to animals, whom she cared for deeply. Lynda dedicated many years to missionary work, serving faithfully in numerous churches. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lynda is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Hill; her three sons, Mark Hill, Steve Hill, and Jason Hill; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brother, James Morovic; her two sisters, Sally Stegman, and Susie Gagliano; and her sister-in-law, Linda Hill.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Mattie Morovic; and her brother, Terry Morovic.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Lynda will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Eddie Usher. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
