Obituary

LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Lucille Wallace Rollings, age 93, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born April 1, 1919 in Chesterfield County, the daughter of the late William Franklin Wallace and Mae Raffaldt Wallace and was the wife of the late Earlie Rollings. Mrs. Rollings retired from Caroknit in Jefferson and was a member of High Point Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rollings is survived by a son, Mitchell G. Rollings and his wife Brenda, a daughter, Karen R. Funderburk and her husband Ray both of Lancaster, a brother, Johnny R. Wallace of Lancaster, 2 sisters, Betty Deese of Heath Springs, and Loyce Craig of Lancaster, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rollings was preceded in death by a son, Donnie L. Rollings, a daughter, Joan R. Stogner, and a brother, Billy G. Wallace.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Rollings will be 11:00 am, Thursday, March 21, 2013 at High Point Baptist Church by Rev. Bobby Joyner. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Family of Mrs. Rollings will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorials to High Point Baptist Church, 1888 Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
