LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Mr. Lowry Keith Plyler, age 73, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville. He was born September 3, 1939 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Eugene Parks Plyler and Mary Lowry Plyler and was the husband of Sylvia Wilson Plyler. Mr. Plyler was a landscaper and owned his own business. He loved to sing and was a member of several bands. He loved classic cars and the South Carolina Gamecocks. He was a former deacon and a member of Covenant Baptist Church. Mr. Plyler is survived by his wife, Sylvia Wilson Plyler of the home, two daughters, Tami Plyler Lenning and her husband Scott of Birmingham, AL and Lori Plyler Hall and her husband Robert of Spartanburg, a sister, Patricia Plyler Watts and her husband Jim of Camden, SC, and six grandchildren, Jonathan and his wife Catherine, Brittany, Scottie, Taylor, Carley and Mitchell. Mr. Plyler was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amber Lenning.The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Plyler will be 11:00 am, Tuesday morning, November 6, 2012 at Covenant Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Bert Welch. The Family of Mr. Plyler will receive friends immediately following the service at the church and in lieu of flowers, suggest memorials be made to Covenant Baptist Church, Building Fund, PO Box 578, Lancaster, SC 29721.
