LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Louise Kathryn Hough Usher, age 93, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at White Oak Manor where she was a resident. She was born March 27, 1915 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Frank Hough and Alice Faulkenberry Hough and was the wife of the late Robert Usher. Mrs. Usher was homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.Mrs. Usher was survived by 2 sons, Kenneth Usher and his wife Doris of Lancaster, Herman Usher and his wife Annie Bell of Jacksonville, FL, a daughter Kathy Catoe and her husband Donald of Charleston, a sister, Ada Horton of Lancaster, 5 grandchildren, Brian Usher, David Usher, Lynn Phillips, Royan Berium, and Amber Taylor, and 11 great grandchildren.Mrs. Usher was preceded in death by a grandchild, Andre Catoe, 5 brothers, Heyward Hough, Roy Hough, Raymond Hough, Curtis Hough and Joey Hough, and 3 sisters, Stella Faulkenberry, Gladys Usher and Irene Jones.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Usher will be 2:00 pm, Thursday January 29, 2009 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by Rev. Reggie Hopkins with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mrs. Usher will receive friends one hour before the service, from 1:00 -2:00 pm Thursday in the Family Life Center and suggest memorial contributions be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Building Fund, 1841 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster SC 29720.
