LANCASTER, SC::::::: Mr. Louis Alan Prete, age 63, died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at his home. He was born October 19, 1950 in Morgantown, WV the son of the late Louis Prete and Betty-Jeane Mohl Prete and was the husband of Kathryn Nugent Prete. Mr. Prete was a graduate of Virginia Tech, retired from Continental Tire and was an avid Virginia Tech football fan.

Mr. Prete is survived by his wife Kathryn Prete, 3 sons, Louis Alan Prete, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Lancaster, Salvatore "Sam" Prete and his wife Susan of Lancaster, and Antonio "Tony" Prete of Charleston, a daughter, Anna-Marie Prete of Charlotte, 3 brothers, Phillip John Prete and his wife Lee of Wilmington, NC, Mark Christopher Prete and his wife Jaynie of Danville, VA and Michael James Prete and his wife Karey of Austin, TX and 6 grandchildren; Katelyn, Louis, Matthew, Emily, Sarah and Taylor Prete.

Mr. Prete was preceded in death by his second child, a daughter, Jennifer Louise Prete. She was born with Downs Syndrome and passed away at
age 1.

A Service of Remembrance for Mr. Prete will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 28, 2014 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Kyle Sims.

The Family of Mr. Prete will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
