LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Lou Nell "Jackie" McBride Belk, age 93, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022. She was born September 5, 1928, in Monroe, NC, the daughter of the late Hobert McBride and Nancy Yarborough McBride and was the wife of the late William "Billy" Belk. Mrs. Belk never met a stranger, she enjoyed talking and making jokes. She loved to visit and take meals to neighbors. Mrs. Belk liked to fish and working in her flowers when she was able. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Mrs. Belk is survived by her son, Dale Belk (Kay); her grandson, Jimmy Belk; her great-grandson, Walon Belk; a brother, H.C. McBride (Linda); her niece, Carolyn Patterson (Tom); and many other nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Belk was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Belk; and her parents; her sister, Faye Helms; three brothers, Emerson McBride, LeRoy P. "Bill" McBride, and Johnny Oren McBride.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. Belk will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Lancaster Memorial Park officiated by Dale Belk.
