LANCASTER, SC :::::::::::Mrs. Loretta Glatfelter Jones Hall, age 84, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her home. She was born December 4, 1928 in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of the late John D. Glatfelter and Bertha Faye Mutzebaugh Glatfelter and was the wife of the late Howard H. Hall. Mrs. Hall retired from Carolina Community Actions with the US Government and was of the Methodist Faith.

Mrs. Hall is survived by 2 sons, George E. Jones, III and his wife Kim of Arlington, TX, and John L. "Casey" Jones of Burleson, TX, 2 daughters, Jessie Jones Eckel of Arlington, TX and Dodi Faye Sharkey and her husband B.K. of Caddo Mills, TX, a sister-in-law, Helen Glatfelter of Peach Bottom, PA, 2 half-brothers, Clarence Glatfelter and Frank Glatfelter both of Lancaster, PA, a half-sister, Barbara Martin of Lancaster, PA, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and longtime friends, Jimmy and Josh Ussery, and Lou and Jerry Pate.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by a brother, Donald G. Glatfelter, a half-brother, Edward Glatfelter, a sister, Elizabeth Young and half-sister June Reuter, and twin grandson, Michael and Stephen Eckel.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. Hall will at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Lancaster, PA.

The Family of Mrs. Hall will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 pm Friday, February 22, 2013 at Hartley - Burgess Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers the family suggested memorials to Humane Society of Lancaster, PO Box 1825, Lancaster, SC 29721 or Agape Hospice, 1317 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
