LANCASTER, SC:::::::::: Mr. Lonnie William Faile, age 62, of 2728 Neill Road, died Thursday, December 02, 2010 at Carolinas Specialty Hospital in Charlotte. He was born October 17, 1948 in Lancaster County, the son of Mavis Arant Faile and the late Jack Faile and was the husband of Wanda Stogner Faile. Mr. Faile was a retired machinist, a member of Zion United Methodist Church and served our great country in the United States Army - 1st Calvary Division in the Vietnam War.Mr. Faile is survived by his wife, Wanda Stogner Faile of the home, his mother Mavis Arant Faile of Lancaster, 2 sons, Jerrit Chuck Faile of Kershaw and Lonnie Brandon Faile and his wife Nicole of Lancaster, a daughter, Andrea Garrison and husband Tim of Jefferson, a brother, Ronnie J. Faile of Kershaw, 2 sisters, Judy Crump of Lancaster, and Jewell Powell of Kershaw, and 7 grandchildren, Cameron and Carmen Faile, Clayton, Cole and Collier Garrison, Elizabeth Faile, and Gray Peacock. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Faile will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Charlesboro Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Plyler and Rev. Jim Elder with burial to follow at Blackmon Cemetery. The Family of Mr. Faile will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, December 3, 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorials be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 1665 Zion Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
