LANCASTER, SC . Mrs. Lola Johnson Riggins, age 86, of 1253 Wallace Street, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at her home. She was born October 1, 1923 in Richmond, NC the daughter of the late Henry Blayton and Maude Halloway and was the wife of Ronald Riggins. Mrs. Riggins was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Mrs. Riggins is survived by her husband, Ronald Riggins of the home, 4 sons, Edward Keels (Betty) of North Wilkesboro, NC, Walter Keels (Brenda) of Monroe, NC, Jessie Johnson (Doris) of South Port, NC and Percy Johnson, Jr. (Connie) of WV, 2 daughters, Lola Mae Mangum and her husband Cecil of Lancaster and Sheila Adams of IA, 23 grandchildren including; Robin, Jennifer and Timothy Mangum, Crystal, Michael and Hope McManus, and Stephanie and Eddie Johnson all of Lancaster, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Riggins was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Johnson. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Riggins will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Eastside Baptist Church by Rev. James Atkinson with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Riggins will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Wednesday at the Fellowship Hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 1180 Garnette Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
