LANCASTER, SC::::::::::: Lola Carol Lloyd Funderburk, age 82, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at her home. She was born August 24, 1934 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Robert E. Lloyd and Marie Usher Lloyd. Lola was the former owner and operator of Family Hairstyling. She enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers and spending time with her pets, Sassy, Jack and Jill. She was a member of Eastern Star and Hopewell United Methodist Church.

Lola is survived by two daughters, Janice Montgomery and her husband Jimmy and Rita Finch and her husband Roger of Lancaster; two sisters, Bobbie Faile and Dorothy Neal both of Lancaster; a special friend, Frank Laney of Lancaster; nine grandchildren, Beth Sansone, Michelle Funderburk, Jaime Morgan, Leann Stacks, Eric Montgomery, Jon Montgomery, Corey Hinson, Staci Holden and Kala Robinson; 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James M. Mickey Funderburk, Jr.; a granddaughter, Trista Hinson; eight half-brothers and three half-sisters.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Lola will be 11:00 am, Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Hopewell United Methodist Church by Rev. David Inman with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm Wednesday evening, September 28, 2016 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Hopewell United Methodist Church, 3734 Heyward Hough Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
