LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Lois Miller McManus, age 88, of 7495 Shiloh Unity Road, died Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Lancaster Convalescent Center where she was a resident. She was born June 13, 1920 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Bogan Franklin Miller and Mary Faile Miller and was the wife of Charles W. McManus. Mrs. McManus retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Springhill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.Mrs. McManus was survived by her husband Charles W. McManus of the home, a daughter, Charlene Means and her husband Hugh of Greenville, SC, a sister, Ruth Melton of Lancaster, a granddaughter, Stephanie Michelle Brock and her husband Darren, and 2 great grandchildren, Kinsley Rose and Konner Todd Brock. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. McManus will be 2:00 pm, Saturday January 31, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bennie Barwick, Rev. Brad Threatt and Rev. Tommy McManus with burial to follow at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. McManus was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Wade, Clyde and Fred Miller, and 3 sisters, Mae Laney, Faye Hegler and Phoye Funderburk.The Family of Mrs. McManus will receive friends immediately following the burial at Springhill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Giles Presbyterian Church, Music Department, 1021 Hudson Road, Greenville, SC 29615, Hospice of South Carolina, 412 N.
