LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Elizabeth "Liz" Davis Rutledge, age 93, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021.  She was born October 21, 1927, in DeKalb, SC, a daughter of the late Walter Preston Davis and Lula Mae Livingston Davis and was the wife of the late Robert "Bob" A. Rutledge.  Mrs. Rutledge enjoyed working in her flower garden and watching the birds.  She loved being at home.  Mrs. Rutledge loved her family dearly and enjoyed caring for her grandchildren.

Mrs. Rutledge is survived by her children, Becky Fulmer (Don), Buddy Rutledge (Pat), Robert Rutledge (Nancy), and Susan Hardin (Chuck); seven grandchildren, Kelly Beasley (Chris), Dawn Jennings (Tripp), Nikki Goodenow (Billy), Robbie Rutledge (Misty), Angie Britt (Casey), Ashlyn Creighton (Dalton), and a step grandchild, Greta Baker; nine great grandchildren, Aiden Jennings, T.J. Jennings, Alexis Rutledge, Dalton Rutledge, Kenna Rutledge, and step great grandchildren, Bailey Baker, Boyd Baker, Dakota Goodenow, and Chesney Goodenow; and a close niece, Libby Morris.

Mrs. Rutledge was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Rutledge; two grandchildren, Elyse Rebecca Hardin and Steven Rutledge; her parents; and three brothers, Freddie Davis, W.P. Davis, Jr., and Bobby Davis.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Rutledge will be private.
