LANCASTER, SC~ Ms. Linda Catoe Griffin Walton, age 78, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at her home.  She was born November 16, 1942 in Lancaster, SC, the daughter of the late Jimmie Coleman Catoe and Cordelia Hegler Catoe Griffin.  Ms. Walton was the Shipment Coordinator at the South Carolina Port Authority/SC Railroad Association in Charleston, SC.  She loved her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ms. Walton was an avid reader, former volunteer at Springs Memorial Hospital, and enjoyed the time spent with the children in the nursery at her church, Second Baptist Church.

Ms. Walton is survived by two sons, Kevin Todd Walton (Jeannie) of Lancaster, and Gregory Scott Walton (Judy) of Troutman, NC; two grandchildren, Laine Walden (Josh), and Brandan Walton (Lindsay); five great grandchildren, Ryder, Gunnar, Noah, Slater, and Hendrix; a sister, Jimmie C. Todd (Gene), of Lancaster; a nephew, Chris Knight (Jennifer) and his children, Parker and Fischer; and lots of special friends.

Ms. Walton is preceded in death by her mother, her father, and stepfather, Lee Steele Griffin.

The family will hold a private celebration of life service for Ms. Walton.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Second Baptist Church, Children's Ministry, 1426 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster, SC 29720.
