INDIAN LAND, SC ~ Mrs. Linda Ann Seigler Sweeney, age 78, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024.  She was born October 7, 1945, in Jamaica NY, a daughter of the late Troy Seigler and the late Marie Lupoli Seigler and was the wife of Joseph "Joe" Harold Sweeney. Mrs. Sweeney loved animals, crocheting and knitting, playing cards and mahjong, jigsaw puzzles, and cooking for her family. She was a member of The Red Hat Society and enjoyed encouraging others. Mrs. Sweeney was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Sweeney is survived by her husband of 58 years; Joe Sweeney; her two children, Joey Sweeney, and Diane Christopher, and her husband, Lou; four grandchildren, Danielle Zupo, Briana Sweeney, Jessica Christopher, and Alyssa Brown; one great-grandchild, Isla Brown; and her sister, Deanna Varricchio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Marie Seigler; and her brother, Gary Seigler.

The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Hwy. Lancaster, SC 29720.
