LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Linda Darnell Blackmon Pegram, age 83, passed away August 20, 2025, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was born November 21, 1941, in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Melvin Blackmon and Mary Lucille Sutton Blackmon and was the loving wife of Billy Ray Pegram. Mrs. Pegram enjoyed working in her flowers, going to the beach, shagging and line dancing. She was a member of Women of the Moose. Family was most important to her, and she loved them all dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Pegram was a member of Glenwood Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pegram is survived by her daughter, Tammy Parris; three grandchildren, Josh Parris (Ashton), Daniel Pegram (Jenna), and Dove Stair; four great grandchildren, Emelynn Parris, Asher Parris, Brynnlee Maccue, and Bubba Maccue; daughter-in-law, Pam Pegram; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Sherry Baucom and Wilma Berry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Pegram; her son, Kenneth Ray Pegram; her parents, Melvin and Mary Blackmon; brother, Autry Blackmon; sister, Gail Fulton; and son-in-law, Nick Parris.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Pegram will be 3:00 pm Monday, August 25, 2025, at Glenwood Heights Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Daniel Porter. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Burgess Funeral Home and other times at the home of Josh Parris.
