LANCASTER, SC::::::: Mrs. Linda Couch Hinson, age 69, died Saturday, May 27, 2017. She was born February 5, 1948 in Gastonia, NC, a daughter of the late Raymond Jay Couch and Frankie McManus Couch and was the wife of Charles Turner Hinson. Mrs. Hinson had previously worked for Springs Industries. She loved to water ski at the river and taught all her children to ski. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hinson is survived by her husband, Charles Turner Hinson; one son, Jessie C. Watts of Camden; two daughters, Rhonda Watts Douglas and Wanda Watts Lloyd and her husband, Ray both of Lancaster; two step-daughters, Cathy G. Allen and her husband, Terry of Gastonia and Carol Draughn and her husband, Doug of Mt. Airy; two brothers, Jerry R. Couch and his wife, Shelby and Donald G. Couch both of Lancaster; two sisters, Betty Gruner and her husband, Ken of San Antonio, TX and Joanne Knight of Lancaster; ten grandchildren, Nicholas Watts, Tyler Douglas and his wife Lisa, Kayla Tyre and her husband, Taylor, Ashley Lloyd, Andy Draughn, Claire Draughn, Logan Draughn, Jennifer Lane, Josh Allen, and Adrian Jordan; and four great grandchildren, Bryson Tyre, Ashley Lane, Eli Lane, and Rylee Jordan.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Hinson will be 4:00 pm Monday, June 5, 2017 at Union Baptist Church by Rev. J.D. Wilson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lancaster, 901 W.
