INDIAN LAND, SC :::::::::Mrs. Linda Joan Gavron Price, age 72, died Saturday, March 21, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Eugene Edmond Gavron Jr. and Colleen Mesimer Gavron and was the wife of James C. Price. Mrs. Price was a retired school teacher, former "Spicelady" with McCormick Spices, and Earring Queen of Sun City Carolina Lakes.
Mrs. Price is survived by her husband, James C. Price; a son, Darren J. Price and his wife Karen of Charlotte; a daughter, Jennifer Nicole Price also of Charlotte; two granddaughters, Katelyn and Lindsey and a brother, Eugene "Ed" Gavron III of Amelia Island, FL.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Price will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 28, 2015 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Tony Caruso.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731 or Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 East 56th Street, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10022.
