LANCASTER, SC ~ Linda Kay McManus Boyd, age 76, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at her home. She was born May 13, 1944 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late J.D. McManus and Eula Mae Neely McManus. Linda loved spending time at the beach, working in her flowers, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Linda is survived by her children, Michael Charles Knight (Norma) and Deana Shehane (Eric) both of Lancaster, a brother, Kenneth McManus (Brenda), a sister, Geraldine "Deanie" Plyler (Dewey); two grandchildren, Erica Shehane and Ashla Joplin (Corey); and two great grandchildren, Harrison and Isabella Joplin.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Todd McManus; two brothers, Ricky McManus and Michael McManus; and two sisters, Judy Starnes and Ann Roberts.

The Celebration of Life Service for Linda will be 11:00 am Monday, March 29, 2021 in The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Corey Joplin. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
