LANCASTER, SC :: Mrs. Lily Ikehara Gillis, age 89, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She was born December 3, 1926 in Waipahu, Hawaii, the daughter of the late Seichiki Ikehara and Kanako Miyashiro Ikehara and was the wife of the late John Quincy Gillis. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and was a wonderful cook. Mrs. Gillis was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Gillis is survived by two daughters, Donna Weaver and her husband, Cecil of Lancaster and Teresa Pacrem and her husband, Tim of Las Vegas, NV; a son, John Gillis III and his wife Vicki of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Misty Sanford, Malia Helms and Ashley Cittadini; 7 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The Family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
