LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Lillie Mae Rollings Wright Godfrey, age 95, was born on Easter Sunday, 1916 and died Easter Sunday, 2011. Mrs. Godfrey was the daughter of the late James Nathanial Rollings and Nannie Bertha Mackey Rollings. Mrs. Godfrey was twice married; first the late George D. Wright and secondly to the late Gilbert Godfrey. Mrs. Godfrey retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. Mrs. Godfrey is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Osborne and her husband Clyde of Charlotte, NC, a granddaughter, Debbie Owenby and her husband Danny, and 2 great grandchildren; Crista Owenby and her fianc' Jason Reece and Steven; and several nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Godfrey will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Jim Elder. Burial will follow at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Family of Mrs. Godfrey will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Hartley Funeral Home and the family suggests memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 1665 Zion Road, Lancaster SC 29720.
