LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Lillian Williams Skinner, age 98, died Sunday, January 08, 2012 at White Oak Manor where she was a resident and was formerly from Camden. She was born December 27, 1913 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Chalmers Williams and Belva Bruce Williams and was the wife of the late Richard Skinner. Mrs. Skinner was a retired kindergarten teacher at Heath Springs Elementary School and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Camden. Mrs. Skinner is survived by a son Edwin Skinner of Fair Hope, AL, a daughter, Beverly S. King of Lexington, SC, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. The Family will host a Memorial Service for Mrs. Skinner at 4:30 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Heath Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Paul Smith. The Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 4:30 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the church fellowship hall and in lieu of flowers suggests memorial contributions to White Oak Manor, Activity Fund, 253 Craig Manor Road, Lancaster SC 29720.
