LANCASTER, SC – Michael "Levi" Sanders, age 21, passed away, Sunday March 2, 2025. He was born May 22, 2003, in Lancaster, a son of Michael Garren Sanders and the late Glenda Dale Piner. Levi graduated from Buford High School and was currently employed with US Strapping. He was always a peaceful guy who loved his sisters, Micah and Rana, dearly, and his dogs, Remmie, Malibu, Lincoln, and Luna.

Levi is survived by his father, Michael Sanders; his two sisters, Micah Jade Sanders Roberts (Nick), and Rana Nicole Sanders; his nephew, Naven Roberts; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Piner; his paternal grandparents, David and Troy Anne Sanders; his uncle, Tim Sanders (Kim); and his cousins, Erica, Hannah, and Haley Piner.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Dale Piner.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Levi will be 11:00 am Friday, March 7, 2025 at Lancaster Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Burgess Funeral Home, Attn: Levi Sanders Funeral Expenses, PO Box 1743, Lancaster, SC 29721.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Burgess Funeral Home.
