LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Lettie Mae Williams Clarke, age 91, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born November 13, 1919 in Williamsburg County, the daughter of the late Willie Hazzard Williams and Rosa Ackerman Williams and was the wife of the late Leroy Clarke. Mrs. Clarke retired from Springs Industries and was member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Clarke is survived by a son, Jerry Clarke and his wife Grace of Lancaster, a sister, Emily Brazell and her husband Clyde of Lancaster, 2 grandchildren, Greg Clarke and Wanda Fudge and 2 great grandchildren, Bradley Povazsay and Madison Clarke. Mrs. Clarke was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Olin, Nelson, Gulva, and Joe Williams and a sister, Dorothy Williams. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Clarke will be 3:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2011 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Jerald Starnes and Rev. Tim McKenzie. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Clarke will receive friends 2:00 - 3:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2011 at the church and suggests memorials to First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1138 10th Street, Lancaster, SC 29720.
