LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Leslie Nicole "Nikki" Outen, age 23, of 454 N. 5th Street, McBee, SC, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Carolina Pines Hospital in Hartsville due to an automobile accident. She was born September 19, 1984 in Lancaster County, the daughter of Walter Benjamin Outen and Deborah Rollings Smith and step-father, Kerry Smith. Miss Outen was a homemaker, a gifted musician and artist and a born again Christian. Miss Outen is survived by her parents, Deborah and Kerry Smith of Lancaster, Walter Benjamin Outen of Fort Payne, AL, 2 children, Keenan Mitchell Outen and Lilith Kameron Pate, her fiance, Henry Pate of McBee, 2 brothers, Cory Robert All of Lancaster, Alrick Outen of AL, maternal grandparents, Mitchell Rollings and Brenda Rollings, paternal grandparents, Grace and Furman Hinson, and maternal great-grandmothers, Lucille Rollings and Clara Gilmore all of Lancaster.The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Miss Outen will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at High Point Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Donald Tillman and Rev. James Atkinson with burial to follow.The Family of Miss Outen will receive friends immediately following the service and suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Red Cross,106-C Woodland Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.The Family will meet at the home of her grandfather, Mitchell Rollings, 795 Community Lane, Lancaster, SC.
