LANCASTER, SC::::::::: Mr. Leroy Clarke, age 92, died March 20, 2011 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. He was born September 29, 1918 in Winnsboro County, the son of the late Ernest Clarke and Mary Clark Clarke and was the husband of Lettie Williams Clarke. Mr. Clarke retired from Springs Industries and was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Clarke is survived by his wife Lettie Williams Clarke of the home, a son, Jerry Clarke and his wife Grace of Lancaster, 2 grandchildren, Greg Clarke and Wanda Fudge and 2 great grandchildren, Bradley Provazsay, and Madison Clarke. Mr. Clarke was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 2 brothers. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Clarke will be 3:00 on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Jerald Starnes and Rev. Tim McKenzie. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mr. Clarke will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the church and suggests memorial contributions to First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1138 10th Street, Lancaster, SC 29720. The Family of Mr. Clarke will be at the home of his son, Jerry Clarke, 2643 Lynwood Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.
