LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Lee Phipps Howard, age 96, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation.  She was born October 20, 1924, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Arthur Phipps and Bertha Moore Phipps.  Ms. Howard was a lifetime member of the VFW.  She was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church.

Ms. Howard is survived by four grandchildren: Beaux Howard and Elias Howard of Seattle, Washington and Caitlyn Coker and Tracy Coker of Rock Hill, SC.

Ms. Howard was predeceased by her daughters, Diana Howard and Donna Coker, and her son, Jim Howard.

There will be no local service for Ms. Howard; however, a private burial will take place at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, CA.
