LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Laura McLaughlin West, age 47, died Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. She was born August 2, 1966 in Lancaster County, the daughter of Wylene Reynolds Allen and the late Michael Drew "Mack" McLaughlin. Laura was a retired Dental Hygienist. She loved the beach and riding motorcycles. She enjoyed helping people, spending time with her boys going to the lake and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Laura is survived by her mother, Wylene Reynolds Allen (Shannon) of Kershaw, two sons, Joseph Michael West (Chelsie) and Brady Lewis West of the home, two brothers, Brian Keith Baker (Tina) of Lugoff and Woody Baker (Marie) of Ohio.

The Service of Remembrance for Laura will be 2:00 Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Antioch Baptist Church by Rev. Trent McLaughlin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Laura's family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Wednesday evening, July 2, 2014 at Burgess Funeral Home and the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
