FORT MILL, SC – Mr. William Larry Fowler, age 83, passed away Wednesday April 30, 2025. He was born August 6, 1941, in Hendersonville, NC, a son of the late Perry Fowler and the late Lillian Gertrude McCarson Fowler and was the loving husband of Brenda Carnes Fowler. Larry retired from Springs Industries as Manager of the Screen Print Department. He loved playing golf and was an avid UNC Tarheels fan and a member of The Ram's Club. Larry was very active in his community, including working with Habitat for Humanity and coaching Little League Baseball. He was a very talented woodworker, painter, and all-around handyman. He loved working with his hands, and he could build anything. Larry also enjoyed cooking and reading. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and went on many mission trips.

Larry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Brenda Fowler; two sons, Tim Fowler (Joi) and Perry Fowler (Marta Suarez del Real); two daughters, Tammy Carr (Chuck Edge) and Kimberly Delpino (Chris); nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; brother, Ken Fowler; two sisters, Erline "Totsie" Blythe and Ruby Howard; and a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lenton McCarson; and sister, Linda Dalton.

The Celebration of Life Service for Larry will be 2:00 pm Monday, May 5, 2025, at Immanuel Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Tim Anderson. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1152 Great Falls Hwy., Lancaster, SC 29720.
