LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Lawrence "Larry" Cohen, age 89, passed away January 16, 2023. He was born November 4, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Herman Cohen and Sadie Cohen and was the husband of Patricia Hunter Cohen. Larry enjoyed watching sports, especially the NY Giants, playing tennis in his younger years, watching old movies, and going to the beach. He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. Larry was a retired traveling sales representative for children's clothing. He regularly attended and was active at High Point Baptist Church.

Larry is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia Cohen; two sons, Mark Cohen (Carey) and Jason Caskey; a daughter, Susan Cohen; two grandchildren, Ruben Cohen and Jonah Cohen; many nieces and nephews; and three brothers-in-law, Richard Hunter (Carol), Milton Hunter (Susan), and Matthew Hunter (Angie).

Larry was predeceased in death by his parents; and his twin sister, Doris Cohen.

The Celebration of Life Service for Larry will be 11:00 am Thursday January 19, 2023, at High Point Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Billy Belk and Rev. Bobby Joyner. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service, in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to High Point Baptist Church, 1888 Rocky River Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
