LANCASTER, SCMr. Larry Clark Catoe, 76, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at his home. He was born June 14, 1940 in Camden, SC, a son of the late Dalton White Catoe and Ethel Hendrix Catoe and was the husband of the late Barbara Joanne Hance Catoe. Mr. Catoe was a Supervisor at Georgia Pacific. He was a hard worker. Mr. Catoe loved Clemson football and the outdoors, especially fishing. He also loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Mr. Catoe is survived by a daughter, Angela Joy Catoe; a granddaughter, Ginger Catoe Sims and her husband Ryan Keith Sims; a grandson, Dylan Clark Catoe; a sister, Nancy Faulkenberry and her husband Perry of Kershaw; a special family friend, Libby Byrd; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Catoe is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Donna Roxann Catoe Manus; and two grandchildren, Marion Clark Lee Catoe and Harley Dokota Manus.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Catoe will be 11:00 am Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Calvin Snipes. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am -11:00 am, one hour prior to the service and suggest memorial contributions be made to Levines Childrens Hospital, 1000 Blythe Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
