HEATH SPRINGS, S.C.:::::::::: Mr. Laddie Allen Sims, age 59, of 4465 Flat Creek Road, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born December 6, 1951 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Amasa Ganson Sims and Kate Inez Sims Sims and was the husband of Tess Garris Sims. Mr. Sims retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.Mr. Sims is survived by his wife, Tess Garris Sims of the home, a son, Justin Sims and a daughter, Anna Sims both of the home, a brother, James Franklin Sims and his wife Carol of Lancaster and a nephew, Michael Kevin Sims. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Sims will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by the Rev. Reggie Hopkins and Rev. Kathy Hudson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mr. Sims will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggests memorial contributions be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1841 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
