ROCK HILL, SC::::::Mr. L. Edward Trent, age 60, died Friday, May 20, 2016 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. He was born June 9, 1955 in Mann, West Virginia, a son of the late Glen Aaron Trent and Helen Marie Blankenship Trent and was the husband of Patricia Hart Trent. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and the outdoors. He loved his family, his Chihuahua Joey and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Mr. Trent is survived by his wife, Patricia Hart Trent; three sons, Christopher Trent of Rock Hill, Stephen Trent also of Rock Hill and Patrick Trent of Florida; a brother, James Trent of Hawaii; a sister, Karen Lai Hipp of Colorado; and 8 grandchildren.

Mr. Trent was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jennifer Purvis; and a brother, Howie Trent.

The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Riders of Faith Bikers Church by Pastor Scott Davis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Patricia Trent, 233 Florence Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730 to help with funeral expenses.
