LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Kristy Leigh Lucas Pulido, age 39, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at Novant Health Presbyterian Main.  She was born July 23, 1981 in Lancaster, the daughter of Clifford Melvin Lucas and the late Mary Christine "Pinky" Newton Lucas and was the wife of Obdulio "Cuba" Pulido.  Kristy was very sociable, enjoyed shopping with her sister, and going to the beach.  She loved all kinds of animals, but especially her dogs.  She had her own little farm with goats, dogs, cats, chickens, and rabbits.  Family was extremely important to Kristy and she loved spending time her family and friends, especially with her husband.

Kristy is survived by her husband of 2 years, Obdulio "Cuba" Pulido; her father, Melvin Lucas; her brother, Jody Lucas (Jean); a sister, Tammy Lucas (Antonio); two nephews, Matt Lucas, and Corey Lucas; a special aunt, Shirley Newton; and two special cousins, Karen Brackett and Audrey Lowery.

Kristy was preceded in death by her daughter, Olivia Pulido; her mother, Pinky Lucas; and a sister, Mandy Newton.

The Celebration of Life Service for Kristy will be 3:00 pm Saturday, February 27, 2021 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Jackie Jenkins.  Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
